GETTING TO KNOW:

Hello everyone, I’m Dejana, a lover of communication and marketing. I am equally inclined towards working with students and enjoy conducting lectures and exercises and mentoring their final projects. I believe that empathy, creativity, and attention to detail are the main prerequisites for uniqueness and originality in applying knowledge in the fields of marketing and communications. I am confident that communication is the key, but also that the process of adequate unlocking is worth every attention.

MY BUSINESS BIOGRAPHY:

I completed my undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral academic studies at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Organizational Sciences. I am an assistant professor at the Department of Marketing Management and Public Relations at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON). I am involved in teaching at undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. So far, I have published over 30 scientific papers, three of which have been published in indexed journals.

I am currently also serving as the General Secretary of the Serbian Association for Marketing (SEMA). Before my academic career, I worked in the corporate sector and gained basic experience in understanding corporate culture. During my corporate career, as a marketing manager, I would particularly highlight my employment at the international company Retail Group Balkans. I was also projectively engaged in the company Genesi, in America (Washington DC), as a marketing consultant. Currently, I am engaged as an external collaborator with the marketing agency Smart Match Solutions DOO.

I have also been involved in several projects of national importance so far.
