TITLE: Full Professor

AREAS OF PROFESSIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC INTEREST: Environmental management, Sustainable development, Circular Economy, Environmental risk management, Green Marketing

GETTING TO KNOW:

I have an MSc and a PhD in the scientific subject of environmental management, which I have been researching and teaching for more than 27 years, having begun my university career in this discipline. I maintained a balance between my professional and personal life, in which I have always respected nature and protected the environment. The multidisciplinary nature of environmental management also allowed me to satisfy my scientific curiosity. The results of this important science and education with ecological value attitudes represent a necessity. They not only affect the improvement and increase individual and general environmental awareness but also strengthen the proactive role of experts capable of applying the results of ecological science in practice.

PANACEA AND ME

Guided by the wise words of George Chapman: “To be a good teacher, you have to learn yourself constantly”, I approached the PANACEA project with great enthusiasm, happy not only because of the cooperation with my colleagues from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, and Faculty of Economics, but also the conviction of the strong synergy of the gathered team. Not only that my expectations were met, but beyond that. I look forward to each of our meetings and our work on activities, but first of all, new knowledge from the field of the current and future direction of Sharing Economy development, which I will be happy to integrate into my lectures from the next school year. Furthermore, I look forward to seeing how the idea of Sharing Economy is “shared” during and after our PANACEA project and begins to “live” both in academia and practice.
